The V6 is housed in a smaller and neater Hammond aluminum case, with a custom built, quick access rear panel battery compartment. The V6 also features some refinements in the power supply section to further enhance sound quality, and includes a built in battery charging circuit. This battery charging circuit is designed to charge a 9.6v NiMH battery when an optional 12V DC power supply is plugged in. This is the only type and voltage of battery which can be used in the standard V6.

The op-amps used in the V6 are top quality Analog Devices AD8620/8610. They offer a detailed and very refined sound, with very tight and fast bass response, well extended, smooth detailed treble and excellent battery life.

Battery life on a Go-Vibe V6 using the optional MAHA 230mA 9.6V NiMH rechargeable battery is 28 hours per charge.
